Wouldn't say i was getting battered by 'em but I get 2 or 3 a day. I don't use hotmail though.

Are you using anything to stop/filter them?

I get loads...they just go straight into my spam filter and get deleted, I never open anything if I dont recognise who its from.

My favourite scammer ones are:
Immdieately needed to check your Halifax account..you are comprimsed click the link below immideiately or we shut your account down, urgent!

Firstly the spelling is the immediate heads up, and then the fact that I dont actually bank with them lol!

I never get these or ones from rich Nigerians asking me to store $1m in my bank account.

I feel unloved...

Me niver. My orange email used to get loads, but I don't have that anymore.

I discovered all my recent Org notifications in my AOL Spam folder the other day. I was going to complain to the mods

But the situation has been resolved, bloomin AOL

Why don't you get a Googlemail account, much better Spam controls than Hotmail

Yep it's these naughty sites that don't help. But having a non ordinary email address helps I think, don't ever use your own name as a basis for your email address, as there are programs out there who'll auto generate email to addresses to anyone who uses john.smith@hotmail.com for example. Use a combination of letters and numbers for less spam

That's a point I have about 6 underscores in my email address to compliment all the numbers in my surname. I don't think it'll fall into most of the logical mass sending lists.
