Default Triumph 675

I popped into Triumph dealership in brum today as it was next to Hein Gericke.
Been drooling over a white 675 with blue frame and accents, lovely.
When i upgrade or add to my sv the 675 is defo in the running.
Apart from being british, it just looks fantastic i hope when i go for a test ride it rides as well.
Cant do that yet as the impulse buyer in me would probably order one there and then.
On a different note, a guy pulled up as i was coming away from Hein Gericke on a nice K9 sv sport, i went over and asked him if he was a orger.
He wasn't but i told him about us all and to check the site out, touting the site as you do .
Hopefully he will add to the family soon.
Sorry, wasnt asking a question or anything just sharing the experience.
Phil

They are lovely bikes specialone. When I test rode one before buying mine it scared the life out of me and I found it so hard to ride compared with the SV. I went with the theory that all the press can't be wrong and now I love it! I will say that it's no the comfiest bike by any means for lng journeys but there are ways round this like eli bars, seats and lower pegs.

I like the white paint job on the SE but not sure about the blue frame. I think they've only done the painted frame because there were a lot of copies of the black and gold SE.

Once you've tried a triple with good exhaust combo, u'll find even some twins quite quiet and mundaine, and IL4's just noisey and screamy.

I don't dare try one, I already love the look and sound of them and am *very* tempted without having a go!

The reason I don't take test rides! In fact rarely visit dealers, just to avoid temptation, just might buy another bike. Have always liked the looks of a 675 and have never owned a sports bike, so perhaps should scratch that itch? Noooooo! To many other commitments! Wanders off muttering about riding what I have...

I got to be honest, they sound a lot like an IL4 to me

Reason I like V's is because of the odd, irregular firing order. Sound bites never seem to do the noises justice though (of any bike).

I have a full Arrow system on mine, but I always wear earplugs so have no idea how it sounds on full chat! Other people say it sounds cool, but I prefer a screaming IL4! Just sounds fast
