Default EAR lunch meet?

I dont know about anyone else but im struggling to find time to test a rideout route let alone find a day to organise it for due to the pressures of family life (kids, birthdays, moving house, yikes!!).

So i was thinking (i know, it did hurt a bit so i'll try not to make a habit of it ), how about we arrange an EAR lunchtime pub meet somewhere in the middle of this extensive region of ours, say perhaps Newmarket or Bury St.Edmunds???

If you think this is a good idea or want to suggest a good venue then go ahead and suggest!! Alternatively, if you want me to go away and leave you all in peace then TOUGH cos im not gonna!!

Sundays are best for most people i think, how about a week on Sunday, 25th October? We could even make it an early birthday party for Skip

Your thoughts......

25th is out for me too I'm afraid. We have friends over for the weekend. I'd jump at a central meet up though. Is Bury St.Edmunds central enough?

Welcome to the ghost house that is the EAR

The active members are too few and spread too wide KJ. That has always been the problem. We tried to get a more East Midlands group started, hence the South Mids Group thingy on my location, but to no avail. Also that would have excluded Skip, who already travels miles and miles to get to most of the rideout starts.

We had a nice Xmas meet up last year

Why not do the same again?
