The best one I use is ConvertXtoDVD,as its says it converts most formats(avi, xvid, mpeg, ect)to DVD and very simple to use.

Allok AVi to DVD SVCD VCD Converter
Available on own or as part of Allok 9 in 1.

I use admin's recommendation of Format Factory for most other projects (video/audio/picture) other than the AVI to DVD we're talking about - I can't seem to get it to copy to DVD video files that my Nero will recognise. Operator error most likely

Another vote for ConvertXtoDVD from me. It's very easy to use - put blank disc in drive, select file to convert, then walk away and leave it to covert & burn all in one go.

Yep I've got one of them, watched the last series of Lost on this basis, wasn't an expensive player either.
