Default Dropped it! - Bugger!...Opportunity knocks?

Dropped my curvy this morning (taking it of the Paddock Stands) indicator has pushed right through the fairing!...... Gutted!

Been quoted €230.00 to replace it! - I quite like the naked look so wondered whether (seeing as I have to get it changed anyway) someone might know of an alternative front end I can put on it?!

Any suggestions gratefully received!

I know you can get GSXR type race fairings and make em fit with a bit of work. But i'd also imagine that would cost just as much if not more.

Either repair with fibreglass and then get resprayed, or check out ebay for people selling whole panels.

Should cost less than 230 Euro

Depending on the extent of the damage sometimes it is possible to run a soldering iron (or whatever is handy filed to a point and heated) around the cracks on the inside of the panel to weld it all back together while taking care not to overheat the plastic. Push any plastic that is displaced by the soldering iron back into the groove with the tip of a knife as you go.

I've got a brand new one in Grand Candy Blue. 120 pounds plus postage to Germany or go into your local dealer and see how much it is.

looks like we were buisy damaging bikes yesterday lol

and go with a naked bike i came off mine and only cost £50 to repair it and that was with he bike sliding 2 meters down the road :/ so seems to cost a lot less than the faird/half faird ones do to repair

I think Steve Jordan quoted me £130 a side for curvy fairing panels last time I asked. So unless German duty really ramps up the price, should think that ( if the € to £ is still fairly similar) they should cost a fair bit lower than that!

May replace mine in the new year- 3 years overdue!
