Default Pointy Exhaust removal

Hi everyone

Was just wondering how much of a job it is to get the middle section of the exhaust off (not the headers).

More to the point will i be able to get it out, once unbolted from the headers, without taking anything else apart!?

Help appreciated!

You need to take whole system off except for rear stub pipe.

Best to leave front downpipe and collector together as one lump.

ok cool. Is it a issue to get the front downpipe and collector apart?
Only reason I ask is that I'm about to buy a middle section that is already cut for a end can (dont want to cut mine!)
Also, is there any need to start taking anything else apart or will it (once unbolted from rear stub pipe) just slide out?

Yes it's a complete pain in the rse to separate front from collector. Feel free to have a go but you will end up with a sweat on.

I wouldn't worry about chopping link pipe, they are cheap enough to replace or weld up.
