I learnt to pick locks a while ago when i was bored, never saw or tried this technique, will only work if the pins have straight edges though, the yale mushroom pins etc will make it alot harder.

The bump technique works well in theory but not so well in practice. Having sold property for many years i became a dab hand at working around locks. Its a good skill to have

hahaha, there have been times in the past when ive had to tell clients to turn their backs while i get us in cos i forget the keys in the office or something, lol.
You'd be surprised just how easy some locks are.
