Default Porus alloy wheels

My alloys on my Zafira seem to lose their pressure quite quickly, unlike the steel ones on my other car.

Even though the front tyres have been replaced, all 4 of them still seem to drop quite rapidly.

I only pumped them up the other week, but one of the newish fronts was down to 19psi from 32

None of the valve cores are leaking, I've checked that and I know the temp will have an effect, but not that dramatic. None are punctured

Any tips or hints. Would a punture sealant fluid help?

did they remove the residue on the inner rims when they fitted the new tyres?

Yep, I was there. The rear's weren't changed and they still drop their pressures

when did you get them fitted ?
faulty Shrader Valve or as above, the tyre rim not sealed......

or you might have a puncture.

I've just spent £109 today getting 2 new front tyres on my battlebus. + £104 for 6 months tax, and £50 for a full tank that will last me 4 days. I hate the cage but in this weather you can't fall off a cage.

Checked all of the above and it's my local place.

Strangely my Mum has similar problems on her Astra. Perhaps its just Vauxhall alloys that do this?

Get a couple of tubes of slime and throw in there.

The fibres in the slime block any holes and plug the leaks.

Thats true.

Alloy wheels are more porous than steel wheels, hence using slime.
