My daughter fell over yesterday and mashed her arm. The swelling and bruising aren't very pretty and it's still painful to touch - I think she may have broken it. So I'm about to leave for A&E at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, it's a 10 - 15 minute drive from here.

Sweepstake on: how long will we have to wait. I'll post up when we get back.

Kiddies tend to get seen pretty quickly, at least they do here. Less than an hour.

When I bust my leg back in Spring my wait was 5 mins. (Helps that daughter works in A&E and wife on fracture clinic).

So judging by excellent service I get from the local hospital I guess for a sprog with suspect bust arm about 5 mins.

Well, when it snowed before Christmas, we went to a bump on the motorway. No ambulance was available, so we said we would drop the casualty (minour whip-cash type) off ourselves.

Comms. contacted Bolton and Wigan A&E's to let them know, Bolton had 70-odd fractures to set and plaster and Wigan had 35 or so.

Hope you get home before the weekend!
