Default GSXR indicator-mirrors.

So after people recomending the gsxr indy mirrors on my polishing thread, I am thinking this is a good idea. My question is has anybody got them fitted to a curvy with pictures? and if so where did you get them from and how much? Many thanks guys.

Think ebay'll be your best bet, but before you go buying now it's something slightly complex like gsxr k4 mirror mounts with k5 mirrors or something, it's a bit of a mix & match if I recall correctly.
If you fancy seeing the ones I've fitted in the flesh I'm sure I can roll past at some point in the nearish future, but you'd have to imagine how they'd look on a curvy.

Sounds like a plan mate, imagination is something i am quite good with so it would give me the right idea.

will do.
Would be worth hearing what people say about the gixxer ones though, I never looked into price, fitting etc.

I've got some aftermarket GSXR ones Liam, which I was going to fit.

They've got adjustable bolt holes, but they don't quite fit, as the Sv bolt holes are quite close together, so I can't recommend these. Plus I'd have to drill the fairing to route the wires.

Pity as they look good

I got a pair of GSXR 1000 ones for about £35 from an online breaker, probably through eBay. I can't find a photo now so I'll get one tomorrow. The fitting points for pointy and curvy are different. The curvy ones fit to the side of the fairing and the pointy to the top. The GSXR ones need to fit to the top due to the angle of their base. I fitted mine after my off though so I had the original indicator holes filled and painted over during the respray. I have made a couple of blanking plates made up from the broken faring to go over the original mirror mounting points. The new mirrors are fitted to the top of the faring and I have made a bracket for each side to link them to the sub-frame otherwise the plastic wouldn't be able to cope with the weight. I had to spend a lot of time setting them out and drilling the fairing but they connect up easily as they have the same plug as the originals. The down side (if you need them to) is that they don't fold in like the SV ones do. But the good thing is that the indicators are much more visible to traffic as they are higher, and you can see that they are flashing too so you don’t leave them on.
I like mine and am glad I fitted them, they ‘fit’ the bike and definitely don’t look out of place. I haven’t seen another curvy with the same ones fitted.
Anyway. I’ll get a photo tomorrow and you can judge for yourself.

I went out in the dark garage just now to take these but if you want a better view let me know and I'll get the camera out during the day tomorrow.
p.s. I haven't fitted the blanking pieces over the original holes yet as I'm not too sure of the best way to do it.
