GSXR Shock 2005, nice condition, £40 delivered

Ideal fit for the *ahem* heftier pointy rider, bought with the intention of fitting it to mine but then realised I can't mod my seat to take the battery height needed as I have a corbin seat.

looks only lightly used, no definitive mileage but its off an 05 bike, I've owned it and had it on a shelf since 08, so I suspect it can't have done many.

Supposed to be one of the best value mods to SVs handling (I'm guessing because its cheaper than forks)
Only wish I'd been able to try it, but I like my big comfortable seat too much

Any idea on whether this will fit an 02 curvy SV . . I recently tried to fit a ZX-10 shock to mine but the spring was too wide . . probably weighing in at about 14 stone fully loaded . . any ideas from yourself or anyone else? Thanks . .

This is not suitable for a curvy as the spring rates are all wrong (search for the useful table). I fitted a ZX-10 spring to my curvy with no problem, I suggest you start another thread to resolve your issue.

Yep IIRC the only different pointy is the K3 with a few minor tweaks but I suspect the shock would still fit that.
a K5 should be the same stock shock so this is 2.5mm longer.

From what I can remember it needs a different kind of bolt for the bottom? someone correct me if I'm wrong. There was a thread on it somewhere, but getting one of those bolts should be trivial, probolt should stock them.

I think that's right anyhow, didn't want to not mention it and someone find themselves stuck or not realising etc.
