Default Fork brace for a Curvy?

Hi all, does any know where i can get a front fork brace from for a curvy. Found one for the pointy in america but seems a bit expensive and cant be bothered with all the messing about getting it sent and all. Thanks

Fork braces are popular in the states mainly for Harleys, as they tend to suffer from flex, often being long and relatively spindly. I think early Jap sports bike also benefited from a fork brace, but modern bikes don't appear to need them.

Plus there is two discs on the front, so no massive bending effect when braking.

just finished overhauling my suspension and thought if i could get one at a decent price id give one a go and see if it made any differance

Some people on SVRider do reckon they make a difference. But the braces they sold there were about $150 which is enough to fund a complete front end swap so it just seems a bit mad to me.

Difference is small, but noticeable. The money is better put towards decent fork internals or a fork swap which will make an even bigger difference.
