Default Gold Fren brake pads?

Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, with them? My EBC's need replacing but these are cheaper but are also HH rated and are carbon ceramic (unless that's just hype). They are a full front set (two pairs) for £24 delivered.

Have used before on rear and also recently fitted a front pair HH pads

Seem fine , alot better bite than the originals and a bargain off ebay think it cost approx £35 for complete set

I trawled the WWW for an answer to this very question as I'm shortly to replace my pads and noticed the Goldfrens on ebay. Brake pads is always a hot topic and it certainly is with goldfrens if you trawl the WWW. I concluded they are fine for everyday use, but lack bite for track day addicts and faster road users. I'll go for a set based on what i've read.

I bought a set of pads, and have very mixed feelings on them. The front pair chewed up a brand new set of discs and have left them horribly scored. They didn't have much feel, and I gave up after about 500 miles and swapped them out for EBCs. By this point they were pitted and a general mess.

By contrast, the rear pads are fantastic. Plenty of stopping power, but without massive initial bite so you can be nice and progressive with it.

Cheers fellas. I think I'm prepared to give them a go. I commute 99.9% of my riding so am not too bothered about race track performance but I'll definitely be keeping an eye on the discs!
Cheers again,
Richard.
