Well i fitted some oxford heated grips today and every thing went ok until i got to the throttle grip.
For some reason the throttle seems to sick open with the grips on ![]() I followed the how too that is on here but i can not get the throttle right. I have not glued the grips in place yet just in case i have done something wrong. Any ideas |

WHat grips are they? I found with my old (crap) oxford ones, that I needed to put some washers on the bar-end bolt between the clip on and bar end weight so the grip didnt rub against it and stick a little. Check this.

+1 I had to trim the end on my VFR but some washers would probably do on the SV (different setup bar weights).
Also did you disturb the cables, overtightening the return cable makes the throttle stick. Druid

Do glue it, because I assume you've taken the ridges off? You'll have a smooth surface upon smooth surface now, and without glue you can have the danger of the grip rotating when your hard on the brakes (happened to me, because I used crap crap crap glue which only held for about 5 months..)
