Read the back of your license

A2 license automatically becomes an A license entitling you to ride any bike when you've had it for 2 years.

Actually every day goes by and i'm beginning to think it isn't as silly as it sounds. It's just a starting measuring to something more staged that should be in place (i.e 33bhp for a year then 75bhp for a year then 100 bhp for 2 years)

But yes before your 21 you can de-restrict providing you've done 2 years of restriction.

I don't actually mind the restriction!

You get used to it!

A stepped restriction would be better, the 33bhp for two years in stupid IMO you can pass your test then not ride for 2 years and then your restriction free and whats to make a 21 year old any better of a rider? The 33 bhp was fine for a little bit but then you get used to it and it seems like there's absolutely no power

Government or council run is useless. You know someone is on the take always. Council tax is always high for a reason and i can give you some good examples of that.

IMO 33bhp is at the "It ain't broke, don't fix it" stage similar to 17 year olds being able to drive an M5 on company insurance.

To me it is broke. I hate the law with a passion if it was stepped or mileage based then I wouldn't be to bothered but I personally don't see why some one should get a free er experience because there 21. In my opinion its the car drivers that need the restriction.
