Hey all.
I decided as I am soon going to be fitting an 04 ZX10R rear shock, 0.85N front springs and Racetech emulators (oil to suit aswell), and am 6'2". Is it worth me purchasing some shorter dog bognes to raise the rear a bit, and maybe lowering the front a tad when putting the forks back in? Will this make the bike unrideable? I am maybe reading too much into what others have done, but I thought whilst its in bits! What do peolpe suggest, from knowledge, experience? Thanks Richie K |

If you go down the dog bone route go careful with the side stand as it'll lean more.
I jacked my Z up by 35mm and found it leans alot further than standard, might be worth getting a plate welded up for the heel of the stand to combat the problem. |

My Zx10 shock wouldn't go in with jack up dog bones. I had to refit teh standard Dbs to fit the shock. Have a look at this thread.
