Raising rear of my 2001 sv650 ( adjustable shock ?)
Hello! I just registered here to see if I can find some answers on how to raise the rear of my bike without spending much cash. I know for a fact that the bike was lowered. How, I don' know.
 Is there a possibility that the rear shock is adjustable? If so, any of you guys with the knowledge on how this works, please explain to me what I need to do to get this bike raised enough so when I sit somebody with me, the rear tire doesn't rub against the inner fender...I appreacite anybodys and everybodys help!

If you've got the OE shock, then it's more than likely it's the 'dog bones'(suspension links) that have been changed.
How low is the bike at the back? . I believe, the side stand is somtimes cut down a touch to prevent the bike being too upright when on the stand. You might want to check that too. Cheers Ben

I don't know how people can sell dangerous kit like that.
+1 about it usually being dogbones.

Thanks! It was the dogbones. I bought a used pair on ebay and got it back to original height! Thanks again!
