Pattern mirrors - Curvy.

I am finding it very hard to source curvy faired mirrors and after ringing my local suzuki dealer they tell me there is a company called stanyforce or stanley force which supply the pattern mirrors at a fairly decent price. Has anyone heard of stanyforce or stanlyforce??????? I couldn't hear properly on the phone I wish I would of listened properly now and confirmed the make! They take a few days to get in stock so would prefer to order myself on the net and cut out the middle man if this is possible.

What was the reply to the OP, i'm also looking into getting a new pair of pattern mirrors for the SV Curvy

I was kindly pm'd a link to some used curvy mirrors on ebay. I messaged the seller asking for a price for both and they haven't responed yet so I continued phoning around local bike shops and asking if they had anything to fit. In the end I have ordered a pair of pattern ones from D&K as they were by far the cheapest and I can probably collect them tomorrow as D&K is also quite close to me. I aint expecting them to be the best but they will probably look better than the ones on mine at the moment.

aw no matey -i've yet to see a curvy with aftermarket mirrors that go with the flowing lines of the bike-patience when looking for stuff on ebay brings its reward.

Don't wory mate if I get to D&K tomorrow with my originals in hand and they don't fit they will be having them straight back!!!!!! They promised they would be exactly the same shape and dimensions but not as good quality. If I wanted originals from the suzuki dealer near me I was looking at £50+ each so I am willing to take a gamble on some pattern ones. Will post my findings tomorrow or thursday!

I can't work out if my very scuffed ones are OEM or not - they have two bolts attaching them, and have a rubber sleeve to the fairing.... also should original ones fold in, because wierdly only one of mine does.....

No mate! Husky was right I got to the motorcycle 'experts' at D&K and the mirrors looked ok so I bought took them home to find that the spacings of the fixing bolts was miles out and they weren't able to be modified so I had to go back to D&K to get my money back. I did ask them if they had sold me the wrong ones and they said they weren't sure as it was the first set of pattern ones for an sv they had ever sold, at that point I told them that I would also be the last.
So I undertook the task of restoring the originals, believe me I wouldn't of done this had I not been off work, still getting paid and very bored!!!!
I have spent the last 3 days on and off sanding, car body fillering, priming and repeating till I was finally happy to paint them with lots of small satin black paint layers every couple of hours or so . They look awasome now alot better than the pattern ones and not much better than if I would of forked out £100 for originals.
I've done stuff like this before but rushed, not had the correct materials/space and patience to do it and just about got away with bodging.
This time I forked out for all the materials I needed to do it properly and used a friends garage which they also kindly masked off for me. The problem with mirrors is laying them down to paint them and move them without touching is impossible so you must hang them with wire from a beam or the roof.
The main thing is to stay patient!
