OK, so yeah, this is a totally nooby question, forgive me.
I'm looking to replace the stock bulbs on my curvy K1 with something bright (how about actually being able to see in the dark, that'd be nice), and I've delved into my owners manual, and for the SV650S it's telling me the following: 12V 55 + 55/50W 12V 45/45W x 2 I realise that these are the types and voltages of the bulbs I should be installing, but I'm struggling to find any bulbs that fit this criteria. None of the bright ones that halfords stock, for example, would seem to me to be able to fit. So, would anyone be able to tell me if these bulbs for example, would work? If not, can anyone suggest me ones that would? Sorry for being a noob, cheers ![]() |

Those bulbs would work, basicly you are looking for a pair of H4 bulbs, ones that get good recomendations are osarm night breakers (which i have a pair of and i am really happy with them) or philips extreme?? (may need correcting on the name of them)

I replaced my front bulbs with 55w Osrams, for some reason SVs in the UK and Canada both have 2 x 45w - the difference has been amazing, much more visibility on unlit country roads, and a good "spread" of light too
