Lincolnshire STEALTH results out.
Just seen on BBC Look North the figures for last year following the STEALTH campain on Lincolnshires road.
Motorcycle death 5 (a reduction) Casualties up 31% first bulletin gave these figures, the next one said there had been there been a reduction in deaths down to 5 (didn't say what it was the previous year) but the 31% figure vanished and they said overall casulties had increased. Then they showed a clip of someone pulling a wheelie on a busy main road, through traffic.....typical BBC for you. Looks to me like whilst the reduction in deaths is great news perhaps by targeting in bikers means that motorists are injuring more bikers because plod is ignoring them  Update......deaths halved. Previous years? Margin of error in results? Accidents due to rider error or other causes?
I hate it when the BBC and other news agencies try to use the statistics to Juice up a story. Report all of the facts you news people! Its your job! "Eating peanuts increases your chance of getting prostate cancer by 50%" Shocker. (made this up but you get the idea) details behind it... from 100,000,000 to one to 50,000,000 to one. C'mon BBC, we're smarter than you think. C |

Liconlshires Stealth policing technique was so stealth I never saw a damn thing except the occasional stealth policing sign lol
