|
Can injectors be cleaned?
Im still having problems with fueling. Ive changed the fuel pump but no luck so i stripped the old one down and found the sealed filter was a state.
This has now made me think the problem could be my injectors maybe one stuck open. Is there a way of cleaning them out or should i buy a replacement on ebay? |

Yeah.
I remember when i used to have a 200sx, the guys on the forums would send them off to get some sonic cleaning and flow testing. I think it was a load of ******** most of the time, but they did love to spend a **** load on all kinds of silly stuff. |

You can buy injector cleaner fuel additive.Ive no idea if it works or not though as I have carbs on all my bikes.

would try the reddex additive prior to sonic cleaning!
The best thing also to do is put the reddex in and do a big run to flush the tank through.

Found a place to do them 28 posted to be sonic cleaned which isnt bad but means no bike for 4 days.
Can i get reddex from halfords? |
