Hello to all
I traded in my Transalp 700 for Black Gladius today. I fancied a complete change of bike I normally change bike every 2 years. (this will be my 6th in last 13 years since I 'returned to biking' dare I say it, I passed my test 41 years ago in June (69) when I was 16 I do not mind if you do the sums This however is my first without a centrestand so I will have to see about paddock stands. I live in NW Glasgow and an engineer with the lovely people that maintain the SW trunk Roads network. I have only ever seen one Gladius on the road and that was last Thursday. Mine's is all black I may meet some of you in the near future. Stephen McG |

Yes, they do. Welcome Stephen. I know several people who find the bike attractive. Garry

Welcome.
Have a look at the American SV Rider site. In their SV of the Month section they often have a modded Gladius. And they look brilliant !!! They do. Honest. |

I wanted a naked bike so that I could
feel Gladius all over I do a lot of commuting the TA700 had tubed tyres and believe me a front puncture with a tubed tyre on the move is an excellent laxative. Before that I had a DV700 it got a bit heavy when fully laden with stuff. The Gladius (latin for sword) is certainly light |

Hello & welcome. Thought about the gladius before opting for the SV but the colours put me off slightly may have bought one in black though.
