Of Avon Storm ST Ultras, done 9 miles on my new rear tyre and a puncture in the seam of the tyre. Not a happy chappy

Avon still do their puncture guarantee - duff a tyre worn less than one millimetre and they'll replace it for free.

Go back where you had the tyre fitted and ask them - they'll give you the details.

I've had to use this Avon guarantee before, it's great. Although at one place they did re-charge me for the fitting of the tyre, but it's still better than having to buy a new tyre

I bought it in Pro tyre, they gave me some crap about inspecting the tyre... I've only done 9 miles on the tyre.. I wont be paying for it to be fitted thats for sure.

They were fine with me, it was a couple of years ago, maybe they've got fed up with it.

It's a fantasic ideas from Avon though and certainly helps as the rider when they've just shelled out over £200 only to find a nail in your tyre by the time you've got to Starbucks in Bristol
