Having an argument with the Mrs at the moment, she recons a house with this SubStation adjacent to the garden will have no problems selling, I recon it will put people off. So I’m putting it to the Org to decide.
House is a decent sized 3 bed end Terraced with good potential to do up and sell on. In the catchment area for one of the "claimed" best schools in Bristol (I went there and recon its rubbish!). House is at the end of a very quiet cul-de-sac Link |

Is the photo taken from the garden of the property in question?

yea I would.. but would use it as a bargaining tool..
then get permish to make the fence higher and grow some clematis up it..and re design thegarden so that all focal points are at the other end ...sit facing away from the unsightly |

looking again you could argue that the modern house behind witht he triangle window overlooks your property.. so you can screen off.. it appears to be a new build .,. to me a precedent should have been set with the older houses to the right.. with upstairs bedroom windows and bathrooms only..
it appears that this house behind could be an open stairwell or an upside down house with the lounge upstairs? .. I am sure the vendor has had issues- ask them what's happenned.. is that why they are selling?? |

ooo i re read- house is to left of photo.. so this overlooks you from the side.. .. still clematis and make the area against the fence your decking/pergola/seating area facing away from the side.. you could build a pergola and grow clematis up that so when you sat under it you cant see anything and they cant see you..
my mate just done something similar.. I try find a picture. |
