Default Bullet Cam Mounts

Morning all - its been a while!

So, I just bought myself a bullet cam kit with DVR and all the gubbins ready for my track day next Sunday. It comes with 2 rubber suction cups which can stick on the side of a fairing or other smooth surface.

I was just wondering though about the fake ram air vent things under the headlights of a pionty model. Id like to mount the camera under there if possible but am a bit unsure if the suckers will work well enough. Has anyone mounted a camera under there and if so, how?

Ive seen a few different types of mounts and thought about securing one in with nuts and bolts or similar but if someone has a better, cleaner way, Im all ears.

TIA peeps.

see http://www.twsoft.co.uk/party/

No the cheeky little minx hasn't told us. Unfortunately the wife has invited "Guests" in other words free loaders who intend to eat my food and drink my beer.

For the party Amanda/Steve are staying over at the travel lodge place.

All I can think of are the suction cups from dogcamsport, other places do the same thing as well.

Some people use that 3M industrial velcro stuff.

Ive got a couple of the dogcam suction cups that I will try for now. I did notice this morning though that there is a black plastic "tray" under the headlights that you can see through the headstock. In it are 2 holes in the centre, just begging to be used for bolting a camera in. Might try it at weekend. Not too sure if its too far back though.
