Default K8 on differences?

hi all,
i keep seeing people advertise stuff as up to 2008 for the sv.
Is there any differance in pre 2008 and k8 onwards?
Just asking as i have a 2010 model and have not noticed any diffrence to the rest of the pointys.

I think its the twin spark. They have two spark plugs per cylinder rather than one.

K3 has a higher rear sub frame than K4 > so things like a riders seat from a K3 wont fit a K4 > and vice versa, oh and riders footrest brackets are different
