Fractured my big toe falling of somehting a little slower (an office wheelie chair (dont ask))
Straight crack across the bone, nothing doctors could do, after about 2 months the pain stopped but it's never been completely the same since.

Reason I’m asking i got fractured toes that have been strapped together and to the next good one.
Work situation means no time off...or i may have a permanent time off. So I have to go to work, got some crutches from the a&e to help.

trumatically amputation of 2 toes, crushed by a 36 ton lorry requiring all the bones wiring, 3/4 inch hole punched through it, de-skinned, currently with a broken ankle & broken big toe, all on the same foot........ I say again

left or right, right isn't a problem, as it's just downwards pressure on the brake, left more of an issue, but changing gear with the upper bit of the foot works.
Gaffer tape works well for that and the ankle, back riding after 23 days, still not completely healed at the 5 week point, but that's not to say it can't be used.
