Xbox360 Lovers.....

What do you think? I got hold of an RROD xbox, fixed that fault and then decided to mess about a bit. All thats left to do is touch up some of the paint and cut the dvd drive so you can see the disk spinning which you can see I have marked out on the case:

I think the white balance must be out

That is pretty sweet! Is that glass or is it just open? Being open might keep it cooler but I bet it would be noisy as hell.

hope you flashed it while you had it apart, i would of went for a different colour still looks good, you should solder some different colour LED's where the power button is.

Is that Covered? You might want to put a Perspex cover on it to keep the Air Flowing otherwise your gona get hot spots.

I love my 360, but personally I like mine the standard black. Matches my tv, stand, ps3, surround and bluray that way - Oh, and my bike!

I know a guy who has the official red one from Resident Evil 5. It doesn't glow blue, though.

And if you flash it, you're one step away from giving yourself full prestige and all the gold weapons in CoD...

Nice looking mod. Not so sure about the color

Its a 3mm perspex window. I did this out of boredom, I was thinking pink.... ha!

My mate said he would have done it matt black but I have the elite upstairs and that would be silly and boring looking.

I did read up on modding the software to mod games but its pretty involved (Its called jtag) and inolves more soldering and also risk being banned on xbox live.

But you can however download some software to allow you to play burnt games. I did this on my Wii with homebrew stuff and works great.

As for soldering different LED's where the power button is... thats a nightmare and wont be something Ill do! ha! They are tiny!
