Been tempted by the lure of a larger bike, but found this - SV650.org

When I test rode one, the dealer said that the fuelling has been a bit changed to reduce engine braking. Wasn't wildly noticeable on the ride, so not much difference to the SV.

I did the bigger v twin bike thing. Not looked back. Showed me that for all their merits, sv's are cheap bikes, decent enough. My riding has progressed and it's safer too. Stick to a twin though.

It isnt brand new its over a year old,and only has 10 months warranty as a result.Try thinking about what it will be worth when you come to sell it or trade it in a years time.It might be worth asking yourself what it would actually be worth right now if you were offering it to the dealer as a px.Its far too expensive IMO and you could buy a lot more bike for that money.

I was just taken back by the price of it. I love my SV, but I've had it 2.5 years & fancy a change, whatever I buy it will only have 2 cylinders, I can't get on with IL4s
