what gets me is he was going in a straight line!
Were his eyes so closed, he couldn't spot a mahhhoosive vehicle in his path?
Or did he think he was a bit Bruce Lee and could kungfu his way out of it...well obviously he did, so he must be Chuck Norris!

TBH, no gear on, approaching an obviously busy junction which doesnt seem to have a set right of way so really he should have been more alert, i dont think he seen that pick up at all, if you watch it a few times, his bike doesnt alter its path at all, wouldnt you at least try and swerve round it?
After all, dont they teach this on the new bike test now

He was doing a good 40+ mph I reckon which was probably fortuitous for his result , had he been going slower he may well have ended up in a worse condition . I don`t understand why they don`t even wear basic gear .... let`s face facts , they make most of it anyway .
