Harry, When did you get this? Is it recent? I talked to Richard at Maxton earier this year and he quoted me considerable more for each option than in that attachment. The compression and rebound damping cartridge forks were nearly £700 plus VAT. Just compression cartridges £450 plus VAT.

Cor blimey thats not cheap compared to what you can do to the forks that has won many minitwin championships!. IMHO if your not doing minitwins then stick a GSXR front end in the bike!

I found maxtons to be totally unhelpful. Don't know if I got them on a busy period but when I got through on phone (various times) whoever I got could not help and was too busy to get who could or they were out of the building. They promised they would get someone to ring me back asap but never did. This happened about five times over a two week period. Maybe it was cos I only wanted some fork springs, a shock spring and some possible basic mods and they didn't see me as a "valuable enough" customer without a big budget. I ended up using Ktech springs on front, faulkner rear and some small mods by Yorkie Chris.(cheers bud) When I build my next "better" track bike I won't even bother ringing them again on principle because of their ignorance!

Maxton are terrible like that. If I were their business consultant, I'd have someone extra answering phones and they could easily generate profit just on the business they miss precisely because of this.

Doesn't help that they all stop for lunch at the same time too, including the receptionist!

How much does an answering machine cost fer chimins sake? Saying that, it'd never get checked. they'd be too busy.

I would have preferred it if they had just said "sorry mate you are too poor and we can't be bothered." That way I could have made alternative plans sooner and got bike rebuilt quicker.

I went to reactive suspension in York. Very good sevice and a lot cheaper than Maxton.
