transponder

Does any one know of a second hand transponder for sale, always rented them but its £20 a metting so want my own.

As rare as Hen's teeth. Even second hand they go for silly money. I got one thrown in with my bike (brand new too! Still in the packet!) so I'll not be renting this coming season.

I managed to pick one up off ebay for £180 but, as Berlin says, they come up very infrequently. I was looking for the sort that you hard wire into the bikes loom but the only one I saw was the rechargeable type that some guy in Ireland was getting rid of. Seems to be ok. Only help I can give is keep your eyes peeled and act quickly when one comes up. Good luck!

we have shed loads of them at college :/

think they are about £300. iam after a secondhand one as well. sick of renting one from the clubs.

They have to be a particular one for racing. Cant remember make will dig it out.

ahh right, got no chance in getting some free ones, shame as the ones we have are just kicking around

they are race ones, most come off formula Renaults and BMW's (single seat race cars)

Hi.

It needs to be an AMB TranX 260 as far as I remember. I managed to get one with my bike for 150 so was pretty lucky.

Saw a hard wired one go on eBay last week for about 185. There are a few hard wired ones on there now for 260 BIN.
