Default Biker's itch?

I committed the sin of running the bike without riding it the other day. My uncle was over here on a pre Christmas visit and wanted to hear the V twin, of course, numb-nuts here removed the carrier bag of goodies from under the bike before starting it up... Didn't I?

Cue one Fender extender with a nice melted section and me passing it off as nothing (until my uncle left) then turning the air blue... Fitted it anyway, with Tiger Seal.

But the Itch is getting strong and my uncle revving the SV and commenting how nice it sounded didn't help, I don't want to go out on the SV, I NEED to go out on it despite knowing the tyres hate cold roads... I'm new to Bikes, is this normal?

When I haven't been on the bike for a week or so I sometimes daydream whilst driving the car that I am on the bike.....frustrating when you cant go for the overtakes you would on the bike.

If the bloody snow on our estate would melt so that I could actually get to a main road then I'd be able to ride.

This sh`te has to end sometime soon....surely?

I really hope so, our street is still a sheet of ice so the bike is still sat in the garage, ready and willing for when it thaws out...
