Default k6 minitwin prep question.

Is it necessary to remove the electric radiator fan ,is there any advantages. If i remove it what about the tempreture sender that is wired into the fan.

Where can i buy a race wiring harness.

Before i forget what lenght 520 chain do i need to run 14f and 46 rear sprockets.

Removing the fan saves weight.
The Temp switch can be left in place, without wires.
You can also get rid of the thermostat to increase flow. but you need the temp sensor in the thermostat housing.

I'm not sure there is much you can do with the std harness. Once you've removed the lights and indies etc and their wires, there's not a lot else you can take off. So many sensors

Std length chain works fine.

Consider different ratios Jack: 15:44 - 46 will see you good for all uk circuits, have broken lap records at three different circuits on these sizes

Main tracks i will be at is, knockhill, East fortune, croft, cadwell. I believe most guys are running 14/46 for the shorter tracks. What you sugest for the longer tracks , croft cadwell.

It think East Fortune is 15:45/ 46.
Its a fast'ish track (mini twin average speeds is 80 mph+) with 2 low gear hairpins.

Hi there,
last season I ran 15:45 and 15:46 at EF and the 15:45 is a better set up for a standard SV.
