Default Looking to sell my SV1000s or swap for a SV650s

Basically I have owned 3 sv650s and upgraded to an sv1000. I upgraded to the 1000 basically so knew what the power felt like and now i would like to move back to the sv650.

First of all the insurance on the 1000 is not that much more than the 650. I found its about 10 to 15% more for me.

List of Mods

Blue Flame Twin Port Twin Exhaust
Pazzo Style Full Length Levers
Double Bubble Screen (Puig)
Tail Tidy
Osram Night Rider Bulbs 100% Bright White
Crash Bungs - Double Hard *******
Radiator Protector (Puig)

Its a lot better bike than the sv650 to be fair but i ride 90% of the time with my little bro who is on a restricted sv650 sooooooooo..... its kind of a waste using an sv1000 to do what an sv650 could do.

The front end does not have the issue the 650 has and the twin cans are eeeeeeerrrrrrrrr amazing.

Anyway to the bike.

I bought it with 7000 miles just short of a year ago and it now has about 13,000 on the clocks.

so.....

2003 SV1000S Silver

Will have 12 Months MOT for new buyer and 6 months Tax

HPI clear

3 keys

It has nearly new Metzeler MZ4 Medium compound tyres

It has been serviced at 2500miles, 4000 miles and i completed a full service at 9000 miles, everything was done pretty much (i have a receipt for all the parts purchased)

I performed the oil and filter change again at 12,500 miles

The bike has been maintained to a very very high standard and the bike is immaculate.

It can be supplied standard or with the tastefully added extras once an agreement on price has been made.

I would be looking for £2900 but if the bike not sold in the next few months when the insurance runs out i will go a little lower.

The bike has no damage and is 100% scratch free not even small ones.

I can deliver the bike at a cost of £1.00 per mile from Leeds

That's gotta be someone's very soon! If I wasn't so new to biking I might well be entertaining some sort of deal....as it stands I want to keep on my 650 (L0) for a wee bit longer yet...Looks in absolutely great condition!

Very tempting and a lovely clean looking bike. I may be interested in some sort of swap deal for my k3 650s.

Its higher mileage on yours - 23k IIRC (not used it since November). It has FSH and I am the only owner from new. It had a Gforce 3/4 stainless system on but I recently replaced the can for a new Scorpion number. Also has full fairings and seat cowl. Currently has Avon VP2s on, not new but plenty of life left in them.

Theres an odd couple of feint scratches here and there from general use and some pitting on the forks and engine casing. The forks arent that bad, Ive certainly seen worse, but the engine casing pitting is a bit worse. The forks also have progressive springs in. Rear shock was replaced last year for a genuine SV shock that had covered 4k.

If your interested, let me know.

Very nice, and I would be sorely tempted if I had the cash spare.

Good luck with the sale
