Default Which battery for SV650SK6?

hey all,

anyone know what battery my bike takes?

its an sk6 650s?

need to get a new one as not riding this winter has kinda killed mine.

dont fancy stripping it down the then put it back together to then strip it down again,

cant seem to find it on here after searching

Mine says YTX12-BS

It's only 4 bolts to get to it btw

Might seem an obvious question.. but have you tried charging it and testing it?

take off the 4 bolts and dont replace them until you fit new shiney battery .... just keep bolts safe.

Even this is manageable for the Woozle.

I was just thinking..."even I managed getting to my battery".....lol!

If Woozle and MBK can do it, so can you!

Can run a YTZ10 (smaller battery) but they're twice the price

Rough cost for them at a dealer is £45 as I'm needing one aswel

cheers fellas, im just lazy, i was hoping it could be bought from halfords? as i have a shed loads of vouchers for them so didnt wanna be messin around with it, and the numbers like YTX12-BS means nothing to me voltage wise or size wise or anything. i dont know alot about batteries lol.

and yes have charged it twice in the last month, dont do long distances either so no good for the battery in general, plus i have a datatool duo which will be constantly draining it

You should be able to order it via Halfrauds, the bigger branches have them in stock
