Default Last day at work

I've been a locum lawyer with the Council here in Liverpool for just over 3 years, working 2 or 3 days a week, (including when I had the law firm - I used to come here to escape my partners) but now the Council has no money to pay me so I finish today I'll be helping my wife with her legal consultancy company on a part time basis. Yep, my wife is my boss

There are upsides, no more rip off city centre parking, no more Birkenhead tunnel tolls, and much less spend on diesel. And, now I've got time to get my bike shiny

Had a few of those over the last year Ed, they haven't turned out to be as bad as they could have been, and in some ways good things.

Good luck

BTW Riding bikes gets them DIRTY - thats what you meant isnt it?

More time to brew beer, browse for bikes and enjoy yourself a bit.

Get into the garden, move some earth, plant stuff.

Take a break from the rat race!

Lucky sod!

Hope all goes well.

Pete

Enjoy your last day. Mine is tomorrow. Half day already booked. Then a week on gardening leave for them to decide if I am coming back or not. Then it's job searching in between the PS3 and enjoying the new home.

This is the beer I brewed 13 days ago.

Seven days primary fermentation,

Six days in the bottle.

It tastes even better than it looks!

There's plenty going spare!
