06 red pointy parts needed

after beeing pulled out on the other day my bike has just beed calssed a write off as it will cost more that 59% of the bikes cost to repair noting major just cosmetics so i am going to have to sell the bike to them and buy it back at salvage price and fix it up my self with the left over money
anyway the main parts i need are

fule tank red in mint condition or any colour with scratches no dents
LH tail/seat fairing-red
Front mudgard-red
LH head light cowl-red
and a radiator

any help would be greatly appreciated

If they pulled out on you and caused the accident then their insurer should be putting it right REGARDLESS of %ages

thats what i thought but this is coming from ride master (company fighting my claim) and 4th dimension(company doing to work and quoating my bike for repair) they both say even with her taking full liabilty at the sceen they wont pay more than the roughly 59% of the bike cost and i just cant belive how this is true so i will have to attempt to talk to her insurance myself and see what they say

If the bike is written off, the bike is written off, it makes no difference whose fault it is.

You are selling the bike to them and they should give you a cheque for the value of the bike, with the intention that you go buy a replacement. If you want to bank that money, and buy your old bike back of them for scrap value and fix it up, that's up to you.

The only difference fault will make is whose insurance company funds that cheque, and who's no claims bonus takes the hit.

Sorry to be the bearer of carp news, but having crashed a red 06 a couple of times now, I can tell you that second-hand bodywork parts in the right colour are like hens teeth. You may get it fixed quicker by buying the cheapest pointy parts in any colour, then getting them resprayed.

Be careful when buying parts that you get the right colour. If it's a K6, it's probably colour code YHH, but the K5 came with a metallic red YU7. They look the same to the naked eye and on pictures, and you'll get away with for instance, putting a YU7 front fender on a YHH bike, but put two panels side by side, like the tail section side panels, and you'll see the colour difference.

I got a tank in mint condition only been fitted for a a 2000/3000 miles,
In the blue colour the darker of the two blues.

I don't know for sure what changed on an 08, but they look the same bodywork, don't think there would be any problems, but don't take my word for it. Rough price of a full respray is 400 quid, perhaps a bit more if you have fairing lowers.
