Arrow Iphone sat nav app?

Hello.

Planning a bimble up to Norfolk from London to visit family however I'd rather avoid motorways and main A-roads. Does anyone know of any iphone apps which allow journeys to be entered in from point to point and has turn-by-turn audio announcements?

Cheers.

Cheers, looks good. Any pros and cons?

On a side note it's typical how it's five times more pricey for the UK version than the American!

I use Skobbler Lite. It's free and works very well.

Yeah I downloaded that but it doesn't seem to do point-to-point journeys (i.e. I want it to go somewhere via other destinations). Just plans it's own route. Or am I wrong?

NavFree is decent*, free, worth a try. It does let you set it to avoid motorways. More crucially, you don't need a cellular data connection, all the map info is stored on your phone.

*sometimes it's great, sometimes it ain't. It insists the narrow lanes behind my house are a valid road to use (the local residents think otherwise). At every single motorway junction it tells you to 'bear right'. Conversely, when I went to Derbyshire the destination was on a private road, and this damned thing knew exactly where the entrance to this private road was! I was very impressed.

Cheers guys. The girl has an android so we're gonna give google maps a go. Then I might look into co-pilot if that fails.
