A4212 and Barmouth
It's a hard life! I need a photograph of a particular part of the A4212 for one of my assignments so early(ish) tomorrow morning (Wednesday) I shall have to get on the bike and ride over there in order to take said picture. I may well be forced to retire temporarily (due to the stress and bother of it all ) to Davy Jones Locker in Barmouth for a recuperative cup of tea afterwards.
Anybody else likely to be over that way? |

I guess not eh Gary?
What assignment do you have that you need photos of the A4212? Is it the road, the landscape or industrial 'heritage' you need photos of? Interested to know, there's quite a lot on that road when you look. |

Re: A4212 and Barmouth
Had a very enjoyable mormning of "work"!
Mike, it wasn't that I needed a picture of any particular road, just a mountain road that snaked off into the distance. I have to design a poster and my choice was to do one that involved a shot of a mountain view and a motorbike inset into the picture. It's a publicity shot for a fictitious film (think Charlie and Ewan). You're so right though - there is so much history and archaeology along the length of that road. And some of it is rather more recent and, shall we say poignant than some of the rest. |

Fair enough Gary, it's a good road for that. I have a couple of spots in mind you might have photographed.... Care to share?
Oh, and was not jealous of you being out on such a lovely day.... much! |

I'll put them up when I get back later Mike - got to go and work for a couple of hours first.

Re: A4212 and Barmouth
One of the 3 pictures I took, all of roughly the same spot.

Nice Not quite what I thought you'd go for. Image I had was the road in the distance, but photographed closer up. Good work.
