Default Just Bought Wrecked 01 SV650! ???

I just bought a wrecked 2001 SV650. Could anybody give me some info on what years/makes/models i could use parts off of? I really dont know much at all about these bikes.

The first thing i will prolly get is used forks.
This is what i have found after a very quick search.....

"This was on my 02 S. For the forks Im looking at 200obo + actual shipping cost. They have racetech springs for 185lbs, adjustable preload tops and fresh seals and oil less than six months old."

Will this fork for me? Im not real sure what yrs/models i can use to interchange parts?.. Any opinions?

The model that you have is a curvy. Mk1 SV650 99 - 02. They changed it to the Mk2 (or pointy) in 2003. Fuel injected engine instead of carbs. People tend to call the pointy by it's Suzuki acronym. I.E. K3, K4 etc.
I would say that the forks you are looking at should fit your bike
