Default look in your loft- or your grandparents loft.. £££

I have a few bits of my old childhood scalextric to sell so was perusing e bay

watched this item

it went to £500 I thought hmmm

just sold !.. .,wow

the seller is thompson family as the name so I assume someone older has passed away and as they listed loads of old scalextric stuff they must be dividing the spoils.

makes you think though .. I have an old dirt bike magazine that is a special one for some reason as is worth £20 now.

here is the flea bay link - its the kind of thing you would maybe just take the skip or give to some kid next door.

Jeez. I have a 1940's cluedo, with real lead pipe, I see someone is asking £100 for one on there, but thats hardly the same league.
I do also have a rubbish snap on tool box that I was going to chuck out, but notice someone is bidding £31 for the same one, even tattier.

I had a couple of old cisco routers I was going to throw, no good to me. The wife said are they worth anything. Stuck them on e-bay and managed to get £250, well chuffed as they were on the pile for the dump.

Mate has a lego train set in original box that was his dads. They were not allowed to play with it as it was mains voltage. Must be worth something but he knows and will not let me have it.

Lego sells for silly money as well. Id wished i had kept by 2 bags full. However when i sold them many years ago i did get £600 for the lot (1992) Nowadays id reckon it would have been around £1500+

I had a LOT of lego!

i have stupid amounts of stuff that will in time (i hope) sell for good money, my dad stewards at Twickenham, and has collected a program from every match ever played at twickenham for about the last 15 years, some have autographs some not. got all the England games, got Army Navy games, got 7's festivals, the lot!

Also i have a ltd edition Action Man from when i was about 12, was a WW1 British Action Man, only 200 made i think it was, still in original box never opened!

I have all the original transformers, original He-Man, the lot.......

My plan.......pay the mortgage off in 25 years!!

I wonder how much they'd give me for a rather large pile of Backstreet Heros bike mags I inherited years ago? From issue 1 upto 50,00000 lol.

Personally I would put it on the bonfire, but it weighs that much I can't be ar$ed moving it!

At the moment I am trying to research a illustration original by David Rock. As far as I can gather in was done for a London publishing firm.

ANY HELP IN THIS WOULD BE HELPFUL AS HIS WORKS SELL BETWEEN £150-900
