Default Towzatronics 12v power socket kits

I bought a couple of these recently after reading a few threads on the subject of adding these to the sv. I thought i would post how the kit looks and then i'll add some more info once i get them fitted.

This one will be fitted on the end on the optimate lead and be stored under the pillion. Including the length of the optimate battery lead this will be perfect for charging devices that i dont need to use whilst on the bike and they can be stored/charged out of view.

£4.65

The next ones for fitting on the Sv650s front fairing on the left hand side (on the inside!). This will be perfect for powering sat nav type devices to be mounted within view.

2m version £9.25

I know i'll have to remember to make sure i dont leave anything still charging when the bike isnt running or else i'll be stuck!. These kits make it easy to fit so no need for sourcing parts and having to make them up myself.

Hope this makes the job easier for those thinking of doing this.

If you're worried about leaving things on and draining the battery, you could do what I've done:

1x Optimate lead fused straight from battery

1x Switched power supply, from the numberplate light circuit, using a 12v automotive relay.
