Hi
I wanna gradually upgrade my new bike, it is totally bog standard and I've had 125mph out of it! So, what I was thinking of doing was changing the original sprocket for one that will give me more ooomph and less top end. What should I go for, sprocketwise. And what should I upgrade after? Really not liking the ropey mirrors so any advice there would be good. Also thinking of changing the indicators, maybe putting some flush ones on the rear panelling, but not sure about the front... Sprocket advice is what I'm after here, but any other info would be greatly appreciated. |

I went down one tooth at the front, great in the twistys but made the engine really buzzy.
I'd say do the mods that will improve the ride first eg- suspension, brakes and make sure all the controls are set up properly. Mods I've done- Forks- springs rated for my weight, 10w oil and Harley emulators fitted. Shock- Hagon shock set up for my weight. The sv,s stock suspension is verging on dangerous in my opinion, especially if it's high mileage and your a heavier rider. |

Emulators for the forks and springs to suit your weight. Rear shock if you need it. Braided hose. Almost everything else is cosmetic rather than a true enhancement.

+1 for exhaust!! Unleash the sound.
I'm also hoping to get fork springs & oil done and some braided lines soon. |
