What right have these parasites got to phone people pretending to be bona fide organisations using terms such as national and service trying to give the impression of being a reputable organisation. GRRH!!!I can imagine some poor sods falling for them.

The same place those 'accident compensation' bar stewards. Someone you did legit business with sold them your details.

Probably your insurance company, I know mine got sold on that way as apparently I have hordes of people wanting to help me claim compensation for an accident I had on the exact date I had my accident.
Well either insurance company or the police....they are the only two parties involved in the process who should have records.

http://www.192.com/

Put your own details into this - see if you show up. You have to be a subscriber to see the listing but parasites are going to pay for that to get to you. I'm x-d for phone and mobile but what's the betting my numbers are in there?

Or some git at your mobile company has sold on your number.

I got a text yesterday saying I was entitled to £3200.

We even get them on our work mobiles, so some git has passed on our details from Vodaphone or they've got a computer automatically dialing/texting numbers

Yeah, this is my work mobile. I do not give that number to anyone not work related.

I am fed up of texts telling me I can claim compensation from accidents that have never happened. Now it is the PPI lot when I have never been claimable mis sold PPI. Had it twice. Once definitely mis sold as I was forced by my bank manager as a condition of a car loan but that was about 20 years ago, and actually claimed on the other PPI when my wife had cancer so a case of glad I had it.

yep it is totally random and starts with a prefix. For example 07837 (my prefix) is spammed every 4 weeks religously
