Default Rough when starting up....

Just want to calm my nerves here. I have noticed recently when starting the bike after a night in the garage it is very rough, almost verging on sounding like it is running on one cylinder. It doesn't want to rev, and sometimes cuts out. After a few seconds (10-15) its back to normal.

Anyone else?

Thanks,

Yeah quite common, a good service normally sorts it.

Do you know when the spark plugs were last changed (if ever?) If not, that would probably the first place I would look.

sounds like a bit of dampness.. or take the spark leads off and push them back on fully.. could be loose....

sounds like its just warming everything up, start it up, then put your helmet and gloves on then by that time it should be nicely warmed up and good to go
