That's not good enough Dave. I need to know before 12.00. Just finish what your doing and go home early, you have my permission if anyone asks. I am thinking no.

Depending on model an SV650 has either a YT12A-BS or YTX12-BS battery, an SV1000 has a YTX14-BS battery.

From Yuasa's website:

Curvy 650 - YT12A-BS - 150 x 87 x 105mm
Pointy 650 - YTX12-BS - 150 x 87 x 135mm
SV1000 - YTX14-BS - 152 x 88 x 147mm

So they're all the same footprint, (just about - I doubt the slight quoted difference would be noticable), but differ in height. Dependant on which exact bike you'd like to fit the larger battery to, this may or may not be a problem.

Hi, thanks for all the advice, battery now replaced with direct replacement costing £45.00 which aint too bad i guess.

Anyway My YTX14-BS Battery which is a direct replacement for the sv1000 battery is up for grabs. Its brand new boxed at is for sale at £ 30 + £4.50 P+P as its quite heavy. I think i paid about £45.
