Hi everyone,
Just thought id upload some pics of my SV400, this is my first big bike and only passed my test in January, iv had it out every chance so far and love it! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Its mostly standard apart from a few small changes such as a tail tidy, carbon can co exhaust, gold fairing bolt kit and polished wheels (which are proving to be a challenge with the weather) Thanks for looking Last edited by SVnick; 10-03-12 at 11:05 PM. |

very rare and by the looks of it a very clean example. in fact it looks like it has just come out a showroom, it can't have that many miles on it.

It has covered a whopping 24000km which is roughly only around 15000 miles.
I think i fell lucky when i bought it as i got it for what i would consider a bargain as it was by far the cheapest SV around at the time, and i am yet to see another 400 for sale any where? |

Can someone highlight the main differences between these and the the 650s? I am not familiar. (Apart from a smaller engine

From what i have managed to find out they are basically the same bike but as you said its got a smaller engine, single front disk and i believe i have read somewhere that the 400 revs higher than the 650 but i could be wrong?

Hello. Fantastic looking bike you've got there! I used to have an SV400 before I got the 650. Cracking first bike! Other than the single front disk, engine size and lack of a proper grab handle there isn't much in them I don't think. Although the later models had a twin front disk I think.
