SV650S K9 crash bung mounts?

Hi

After coming off the bike a few weeks ago and taking a quick slide down the motorway, I'm in the middle of repairing the bike and getting it back on the road. I've got some Lust Racing bungs to fit to it, but I need to replace the mount for it on the left hand side. My questions are, what is this part called and is there a better one available? When I came off, the 'arm' on this contraption bent inwards and through the fairing and it seems pretty poorly placed/designed.

Its a fairing bracket, not really designed to withstand any good impact.

I think I still have some of the R&G brackets that fit between the frame and fairing....
I'll have a look and let you know.

Thanks for the help so far. I take it then that R&G supply a better set of brackets than the standard ones? How do they mount on? In the same place as the original and also onto the engine bolt?

Thanks for the replies everyone. Elliot, thank you for the offer however after seeing some pictures of those R&Gs and seeing the brackets that come with them, I'm going to splash out on a pair.
