I have a '99 SV that runs fine but would like another to basically strip down and rebuild in my own time.
I'm not brave enough to attack my current SV, as I still like to go out on a blat now and again, but if I had another to get some spanner skills on then I'd be one happy monkey tucked away in my garage over winter! At the same time I'd like to get something track-ready for next year if my skills develop quick enough. I'd prefer the bike to be as complete as possible but cosmetic damage isn't a worry as I'd get track bodywork on it at some point. And of course it needs to be dead cheap! ![]() I'm near Milton Keynes but don't mind travelling 40-50 odd miles to collect. Cheers all, Dave Last edited by Bunkle; 05-10-12 at 11:18 PM. |

Hello bud, I'm looking at spending the bare minimum really, only a few hundred, not sure what condition I'll get for that but for honing the spanner skills I'm hoping something crops up.
SV's seem to hold their value pretty well so may have to go down the CBR600 route, I've read that they're quite DIY friendly. Cheers, Dave |
